About Cyra Niven
 

Hi! I’m Cyra Niven, and I am an artist and art teacher based in Simpsonville, SC. I love exploring the Greenville area with the love of my life, Colby! You can see above how I painted a scene from our own wedding- that day was such a dream and I love getting to be a part of yours when I paint!

I specialize in live wedding painting and commissioned artwork. I love to paint the things that you love! Aside from painting your pets, weddings, and homes, I also love to paint landscapes and florals. My favorite thing to play with is COLOR! I think it brings so much joy to any space. I also believe it’s so important to make artwork accessible to anyone, which is why I offer prints of most of my artwork.

I grew up in the Charlotte, NC area, and my love for art began when I was really young- something I contribute in part to art loving parents and the most amazing art teacher in elementary and middle school. I studied Art Education at Anderson University (class of ‘16 and again in ‘21 for my masters) and now teach full time in Williamston, SC. I started pursuing painting more after my first few years of teaching, and I’ve been enjoying sharing my art ever since!

There’s not much that I love more than being able to put a brush to canvas or paper, and I am so grateful to everyone who has supported my art journey.
