Why a Live Wedding Painting?

If you’ve ever seen a live painter at a wedding, you have seen how much it can add to your special day! Guests love coming up to watch the painting’s progress, especially seeing how I capture you and your new spouse so realistically! By choosing me to paint your wedding, you’ll end up with a beautiful memory to hang on your wall for years and years to come. Here’s what to expect the day of:

Ceremony painting- I will arrive early a few hours before the ceremony to begin painting the background, and will add in the wedding party and guests as the night goes on! If you choose this option, I will be there to paint throughout most the reception as well.

Reception/First Dance painting- Again, I will arrive as early to the reception space to begin painting the background. Guests will love seeing the painting in progress as they enter the reception! The main focus of the painting will be a portrait of the bride and groom during their first dance.

Guest Portraits- This is such a fun new option! I will arrive and set up for the cocktail hour as well as part of the reception depending on the package you choose. I paint your guests on 4x6 watercolor paper for them to take hone as their wedding favors! Additional studio time can be purchased as well to ensure all your guests are painted!

NEW- Elopement packages- I will arrive to your venue earlier to begin painting the background and will capture pictures during your ceremony. The painting will be brought back to my studio to complete as the time on-site is shorter. I will of course do some painting while you’re there so you can see the progress! We can discuss more details to make sure everything important to you is included!

Current Pricing:

16x20 painting- $1100

20x24 painting- $1400

Guest Portraits hourly rate- $450

Elopement Packages:

9x12 painting- $600

11x14 painting- $700

Pricing quotes will include the painting on a high quality canvas in the size of your choice, hourly rate for guest portraits, and added travel costs for weddings over an hour from Greenville/Simpsonville.

Due to the variety of possibilities for the timing of the day, size of the painting, and detail needed to portray different venues, I can not guarantee that the painting will be completed “day of.” I can, however, have the painting ready for you within a month! Shipping options will be discussed if necessary. (Additional cost).
